Morgan Creek Dermatology is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Chapel Hill, NC
Physician-led Dermatology Practice seeking Medical Assistant role.
The ideal candidate for this position is responsible, reliable, has a positive attitude and is excited to serve patients. Candidate must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, work at a fast pace, have a desire to learn daily, and provide a great patient experience above all else. This is a great opportunity for someone on the pre-med track or interested in moving into medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for exams and procedures
- Assisting physicians with surgeries and procedures
- Taking necessary vital signs and measurements
- Charting pre and post appointment
- Obtaining and processing lab specimens
- Scheduling appointments, tests and procedures
- Communicating lab and procedure results to patients by telephone
- Assisting the physicians in any other way to ensure efficient patient flow.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited two-year medical assistant program or completion of a four year bachelor degree required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Certified Dermatology Tech (CDT) preferred
Benefits:
- Uniform stipend

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
